back from Eastern USA with people fearing us..
hahaha.. with the number of people increasingly getting H1N1,
we came back safe and free from it!
NY isn't really wat i imagine it to be on the day we arrived..
travelling from the JFK airport to Manhattan,
the streets and buildings have not a bit of familiarity from the movies..
Checking in to Hyatt, it was SO comfortable..
and it was right next to the Central Terminal which makes it rather convenient..
When we were all set to explore the city, it poured!!
Plans of visiting the brooklyn bridge has to be swopped with the museum..
after having our shoes all soaked up and mum nagging away..
we found the metro station..
mum's shoes were like coming apart lah..
luckly, there was a cobbler at the station..
lunch was next up..
lunch was at this little restaurant nearby the metropolitian museum of arts..
the food ok only.. nothing much to talk about..
then we walk down to the museum..
where there isn't much things interesting to see..
it's alot of egyptian stuff that covers the museum..
due to time constraint we left for our next destination~
M&M's World!!!
omg... the whole place is filled with M&M's..
all sorts of colours and all sorts of blends..
though i'm not a fan but the ambience amongst M&M's will make you facsinated..
